  It's been a good run the last 6 weeks in the World Cup, so let's close it out with another winner. Then it's more baseball for a while until college football starts.  Spain +142  3-way line It's been fun watching Argentina come from behind with late goals, but I don't think that happens against Spain. There's always a chance Messi could do the impossible, but I bet Spain wins in 90 minutes.  

  I have a few World Cup bets for today, but the prices have moved significantly from when I bet them days ago. Only 1 still has some value: Argentina  -125  3-way line

  World Cup today Spain -144  3-way line Belgium has only looked good against the US, who sadly just isn't any good.  Spain likely keeps a clean sheet here, so consider a better price by betting Spain to win to nil.  There's a pretty good bet tomorrow in the World Cup. I've already bet it and sent out to members. If the price hasn't moved drastically, I'll post it here in the morning. 

  World Cup today Columbia  +133  3-way line Switzerland steps up in class today against Columbia.  Wins against Bosnia, Canada and Algeria have people thinking Switzerland is impressive.  But they likely won't score against Columbia's defense.  Meanwhile, Columbia has generated the 3rd most shots in this tournament, but has been unlucky in goals scored. Eventually regression to the mean will happen with their shooting percentage.  

  World Cup today Belgium  / USA over 2.75 -110 Belgium have taken the most shots in this tournament with 16 shots per game. USA has put 50% of all its shots on net, so I think we will see goals on both sides in this game. 

  World Cup today England  +154  3-way line England  -1.5 +474 The talent difference is astronomical in this game. There's not a player on Mexico's roster that could make England's roster.  Mexico only has 4 players that play professionally in a major league, 2 play in Italy and 2 play in England.  Meanwhile, England's entire team consists of players on an EPL roster.  If there's one concern, it's the location of the game being in Mexico. Not that England's players haven't played in front of hostile crowds before, but Mexico is a corrupt country and there's no telling what the government will allow people to do to disrupt England's team prior to the game, or if the officials for the game have been threatened.  I wish they were playing in the US or Canada, but assuming the game is fair England should win easily.  

  A 1-2 day yesterday in the World Cup, which is the first losing day in a while. Baseball was 8-3 yesterday so still a overall winning day. Only 1 bet today in the World Cup.  France -1.5 -155

  Baseball is on a scorching hot sreeak right now as we are in the sweet part of the season.  Come make some money during the summer as we wait for college football to start.  World Cup   England  -128

  NHL this year made 55 units of profit. Basketball and hockey combined to make 150 units this year. There are no multiple unit bets, every bet is for 1 unit.  Pick the amount you want to bet, and bet that on every game. People who have multiple levels of betting don't win and certainly are not pro bettors.  If a pro has an edge, he bets the maximum. Why would he bet less? If there's no edge, bet zero.  Why would he bet more? You're maximum bet is determined by your bankroll. Generally 1% or 2% of total bankroll. That's what you bet on every game.

  I've sent this out to so many who have emailed asking for the fight card tonight, I might as well just post it for everyone. While I do enter every pick in every sport for the same amount on Betstamp, I personally bet the UFC for quarter units (0.25).  So if you normally bet basketball or baseball for $100, bet the UFC for $25.
