  Opening day in baseball today.  The baseball is supposed to be wound looser to deaden the ball, which is supposed to  create drag in the air so the ball doesn't fly as far.   It should be interesting to see how many home-runs are hit this year compared to the previous years.   EPL is back in action this weekend, so I'll have some picks ready before the weekend.    MLB Atlanta vs Philadelphia Over 7  -114  

  NBA trade deadline has passed, so the volume of bets will go back up to normal.  Also, the NCAA tournament gets back in action this weekend, and I've already sent out picks to members.  NHL was 2-0 yesterday, but no action on today's short list of games.   NBA Denver -2.5 vs New Orleans 

  Basketball was 2-2 yesterday, NHL was 1-1.  The volume of bets will pick up once we get past the trade deadline, which is today for the NBA.   Obviously don't want to bet in the morning and have players traded before the game starts.  We already have to deal with Covid and "load management" so it will be nice to cross trades off the list of why guys don't play.  Hopefully we can get Covid off the list sometime soon too.   NHL Minnesota -116 vs St Louis

  NCAA tournament started out with a winner on the night of the First Four, went 0-3 on the first day of round one, then was 6-3 after that.  So 7-6 overall in a tournament that was a bloodbath for most bettors.   NBA Philadelphia vs Golden State Under 217 

  Basketball was 3-0 yesterday, 5-1 the last couple days.  The NCAA tournament starts today, so the public is ready to bet on teams they have never seen, and players they can't name.   The books will make more money in the next 3 weekends than they do on the Super Bowl.   The NCAA tournament is about favorites early and dogs later.  That's because the good teams generally kill the small schools in the early rounds, then the good teams play each other in the later rounds.   The public always gets this backwards because they always think some 12 seed is going to the Final Four.  The public also doesn't have an appetite for laying 20 points because they deem it to be too much, so they bet the 15 or 16 seed who gets blown out.   If you want some help making money these next couple weeks, consider becoming a member. 746 Tennessee -8.5 vs Oregon State 

  EPL went 2-4 over the weekend and Monday.   A losing matchweek, but not horrible considering 3 huge underdogs all managed to lose 1-0.   NCAA tourney starts this weekend.  Generally there's not much value in betting these games, but I'll have a few picks along the way.   Champions League Atalanta +268 to advance vs Real Madrid.   Atalanta +220 to win is also ok, but I prefer the higher price to advance.  If they win 2-1, they advance on away goals.  A 1-0 win would send it to OT, where they could win in OT or PK's.  

  EPL was 1-1 yesterday for some profit.   West Brom couldn't score against Palace, so they are a step closer to dropping to the Championship next season.   The NBA still has half of its season to go, and baseball starts in about 2 weeks.  Fans are starting to be allowed in the stadiums around the country, so we are getting closer to normal in the sports world.   Mid-week UCL was a 1-1 split.  This weekend the EPL gets back in action.  Basketball was 4-3 the last couple days.  This weekend is the last of the regular season for college basketball, but the NBA is only half way through its schedule.   Baseball is just a few weeks away. EPL West Brom +256 vs Crystal Palace 

  Porto held on for a half win with 10 men yesterday.  Amazingly they won it in OT.  We have more Champions League action today. Another shootout win in the NHL yesterday with the Islanders.  Finally starting to win some of these shootouts, and also avoiding the 2 goal lead meltdowns in the 3rd period.   The NBA gets back on the court today with a couple of games.   UCL Barcelona +157 vs PSG.  Members got this at +204.  If you're not a member yet, consider becoming one and start getting the best of the lines.  

  EPL won again yesterday with West Ham.  The Champions League is back in action today and tomorrow.  I do have a few picks ready to go. Basketball won yesterday.  College games on the schedule every day, and the NBA gets back on the court on Wednesday.   NHL was 3-0 yesterday, including a OT win and a shootout win.  Let's hope that's a sign of good things to come.  Shootouts haven't gone my way most of the year, but they should even out eventually.   UCL Porto +1.25  -118 vs Juventus.  

  EPL was 2-0 yesterday.  A quiet day in basketball as we get ready for conference tournament week.  The NBA returns on Wednesday. EPL West Ham +114 vs Leeds

  EPL was 1-2 yesterday.  Aston Villa played great defense as usual, but couldn't get on the scoreboard for all 3 points.   It's conference tournament time for college basketball.  Yesterday was 3-4.  Plenty of college games in the coming days.   EPL Fulham +1  +114 vs Liverpool.   +1.25 -115 is also good.  

  The 2 month scorching hot run has cooled a little.  That was to be expected, but nobody likes it when it happens.  The good news is it's only been a slight downswing,  so we are still up plenty.   But let's get some more, and it starts with a full weekend of EPL action.  I have at least 5 picks ready to go.   EPL Aston Villa +147 vs Wolverhampton 

  February finished up about +14 units after a +34 in January, so 2021  continues to be scorching hot.   Basketball was 1-1 yesterday.  NHL was 2-2 for profit.  EPL had a losing day for the first time in a while when Palace ended in a draw and Burnley got blown out.   There's midweek matches the next few days to get back on the winning side.   NHL Philadelphia -113 vs Pittsburgh
