  EURO lost yesterday with Sweden.  Back in action with the quarter finals this weekend.   Baseball totals are inflated every day with the pitchers being checked by umpires dominating the news.  The public thinks every game is going over now.  So the smart money is on the unders.   NBA playoffs won again yesterday, now on a 10-3 streak.  I have a pick ready for the Hawks v Bucks tonight.   5:40PM Atlanta Hawks vs Milwaukee Bucks Pick Hidden.   NBA playoffs continue to win. now 8 in a row and 10-1 in the last 11.  I have a pick in tonight's Bucks vs Nets game and likely will have at least one pick on Sunday.   EURO took a loss yesterday with England playing like it was a friendly with its neighbors.  500 completed passes and I think 400 of them were backwards.  No pick for today.   Soccer was 2-0 over the weekend, and  7-3 the last 2 weeks.   Semi Finals in the Champions League today and tomorrow.  Chelsea seems to win all these big games 1-0 when away from home, but I have not made a bet because Chelsea would gladly take a draw in this match.  Also, Real knows they need at least 1 goal at home to have a chance to advance.  A 1-1 draw seems likely.   Another winning day in baseball yesterday.  NBA also won, but I've not bet many games as the end of the season is almost here.  Once the playoffs start, the number of bets will increase.   MLB NY Yankees -181 vs Baltimore.   Kluber pitching for the Yankees, and they should be desperate for a win.

  Opening day in baseball today.  The baseball is supposed to be wound looser to deaden the ball, which is supposed to  create drag in the air so the ball doesn't fly as far.   It should be interesting to see how many home-runs are hit this year compared to the previous years.   EPL is back in action this weekend, so I'll have some picks ready before the weekend.    MLB Atlanta vs Philadelphia Over 7  -114  

  A 2-0 day yesterday with one winner in football and one in baseball.  I emailed the football pick to all subscribers of this blog.  Both plays became valuable with line movement during the day, so neither play was available on the overnights.   Today we all are waiting for pitchers to be announced in the Tampa vs Houston game.  If Garcia goes for Houston, their season probably ends tonight.  Whether there's value or not will depend on the posted price. MLB Dodgers -207 (Kershaw) vs Atlanta (Wilson).   I know this isn't a sexy pick.  Nobody hates laying a big price more than I do, but there's nothing to like about Atlanta here.  Kershaw is one of the best ever, and Wilson is a rookie being thrown to the wolves.  He's made only a few starts and has an xFIP nearly 5.00.  What's the chance he cools off the Dodgers hot bats?  I think our only worry in this game is Kershaw's health.

  NFL was 1-2-1 yesterday. There weren't many games worth betting with AFC vs NFC match-ups and East coast teams flying West, and West coast teams flying East.  Generally flying 3 time zones is not a team you want to be on.  Next week should produce better spots. EPL was 2-0 yesterday after an 0-2 Saturday so a break even weekend in soccer.   MLB Houston +125 (McCullers) vs Oakland (Bassitt) 

  Baseball was 2-2 yesterday.  One loss was the Reds losing 1-0 in 13 innings.  I think they left 1.2 million runners on base, or something in that neighborhood.  Then the Indians couldn't hold an early lead, or a middle inning lead, or a 9th inning lead.  Other than that, they pitched great.  I'm guessing the Indians will be looking for a flame throwing closer in the offseason.  I think we've all had enough of Brad Hand's soft tossing slider.   I haven't bet any overnight baseball.  Here's what I'll be looking for in the morning: Cincinnati (Castillo) vs Atlanta (Anderson)  -  The posted total is 7.5 on the overnights.  If it falls to 7, I would bet the Over at -120 or better. Chicago White Sox (Dunning) vs Oakland (Manaea) - No overnight line.  If the total opens at 7.5, I would bet Over at -115 or better.    Miami (Sanchez) vs Chicago Cubs (Darvish) - No overnight total on games in Wrigley as usual.  Assuming no severe wind,  I'd bet Over 7 -120 or Un

  Yesterday was a slow sports day, but today we have plenty of baseball and the start of the NBA Finals.   I did bet Game 1 of the series, which has already been sent to members.  I also have at least 3 baseball bets today.  You can get all these games by using the pay links on here.   MLB Chicago White Sox (Keuchel, xFIP 3.98) vs Oakland (Bassitt, xFIP 4.49) Over 7 -105.    Neither one of these pitchers is all that great, and neither bullpen is spectacular so I anticipate some runs being scored.  The White Sox and Blue Jays have the worst bullpens of any of the playoff teams.  If this were a regular season game, the total would be 8.5, but the public saw low scoring games yesterday so that's what they will bet today.
